Lighting developments in the aeronautics field are greatly linked to the environment and the light quality, as well as technical requirements regarding space, weight, power consumption and maintenance.

Brochier Technologies is currently developing lighting panels with its partners, using Lightex® technology, which allows these different problems to be solved.

A full-scale model of an aircraft’s interior already provides the following functionalities:

• Ambient lighting on sections of partition walls for the passenger’s comfort
• Automatic seat numbering built into the seats
• Centralised electronic management and adaptive lighting for different installations
